Hannah Sutton Massage Therapy operates this website and is responsible for the policies outlined here.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand things can crop up so you may need to cancel your appointment. If you need to cancel, please let us know at the earliest opportunity. There will be a charge of 100% of the treatment fee for same day cancellations and non-attendance. Our therapists often work with waiting lists, so we need as much notice as possible to be able to fill the appointment.

PRIVACY POLICY

As demonstrated in this privacy policy, we are committed to protecting and preserving your privacy as you visit our website.  This policy also applies when you are communicating with us electronically.

This privacy policy sets out how we process the personal information that we collect from you. This also applies to information that you provide to us through our website. We confirm that we will keep your information secure. Most importantly,  we fully comply with all applicable UK data protection legislation and regulations, for example, GDPR.

When you provide information to us, it will either be emailed directly or alternatively, stored on a secure server. We use a trusted third-party website and hosting provider to manage the website. Most importantly, this provider meets high data protection and security standards. Also, they are bound to keep any information they process on our behalf, confidential by contract. Any data that is collected is kept securely and equally important, it is only processed in the manner we instruct them to.

We would like to confirm that we do not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies.

Additionally, we use all reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal data is not disclosed to regional or national institutions and authorities.  The law may, however, require us to disclose it.

Security and debugging

We would like to point out that, unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, ultimately, we cannot guarantee its security when being transmitted to our website.  Any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, again, we use strict security procedures to try to prevent unauthorised access.

COVID-19 POLICY

This policy sets out the measures we have taken because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have followed guidance from the governments’ Working Safely Guidance.  You can click on this link to find out more. Following the lifting of many restrictions, we have sought further guidance. This is so we can further protect our staff, clients and other visitors to the salon. We have adopted the following key behaviours:

Risk assessment

Firstly, we ensure that we have covered COVID-19 in all our risk assessments. During this process, we’ve considered adjustments that might be required for people with disabilities. These adjustments could apply to staff, clients and other visitors to the salon. As a precaution, we regularly review these assessments. We are keeping them updated in line with changes made by the government. 

Ventilation

We ventilate the workplace to allow fresh air in and particles out. And so, this helps manage the risk of Covid-19.

Cleaning

We clean all surfaces regularly using anti-virucidal/anti-bactericidal products. We ask our staff, clients and other visitors to the salon to use the hand sanitiser we provide.

Wearing face masks

The government has stated that wearing face masks in public places is no longer mandatory. Nevertheless, we encourage our clients, staff and visitors to the salon to exercise their own discretion.

Isolation guidelines

Staff self-isolate when required by law. Staff who are isolating do not come into the workplace. Furthermore, once the period of isolation has been served, the staff may return to work. To clarify, it is an offence to do so.

Communication and training

Finally, we update staff on how we are using and updating safety measures.
